Each year Tongariro Lodge guided anglers fish over 40 rivers and four lakes. We run our own rafts, four wheel drive vehicles and boats, and have some of the best backcountry nymph and dry fly fishing for sighted browns and rainbows to be found anywhere. We provide excellent fly fishing year round. We are the countries most experienced helicopter fly fishing operator and our helicopter access options offer truly remarkable wilderness fishing. For over 40 years our expert team of guides have provided both beginners and the 'whose who' of the world's anglers with their fishing experience of a lifetime. It is without doubt the angling skill, knowledge and experience of our excellent guides that maximises your potential.
